Thank you so much Joanna. My success with overcoming my ED behaviors has given me the courage to deal with childhood (and current) abuse from my mom. Today's therapy session was very intense, but my recovery has taught me that the painful feelings mean I'm doing the work and that I am capable of handling it. So many issues to deal with, but I'm truely feeling confident that I can do this. Yes, I'd love the pain to be taken away, but it does get easier because I've had a taste of the rewards on the other side! Thank you for the reminder.......your timing is perfect!
