What did you have for breakfast today? Tell the truth

Share

Let's talk real food and real behavior.  What did you have for breakfast today?

Leave your answer in the comments.  We can build up a pile of menus, good, bad, mediocre, great, indifferent and see what we come up with. Looking at the reality of what we do can help us make helpful adjustments.  And it's could be a lot of fun.  Recovery doesn't have to always be serious.  Important yes, but laughter, surprise and sharing is part of the journey.

For breakfast this morning I had: a bowl of low fat yogurt mixed with sliced strawberries and blackberries, sprinkled with left over flax seed. I had one cup of caffeinated coffee with soy milk and stevia as a sweetener.  (I used the flax seed because I didn't want to waste it, even though I know it works on lowering cholesterol in men, but not women.)

What did you have for breakast this morning?  Check in to see what others have to say.

Yes, you can check in every day with a different real food breakfast report!

@ 1/2 cup fiber one and a few cheerios with skim milk. The same breakfast I have everyday, minus the cheerios.

What's Breakfast? Seriously, my therapy goal was to eat breakfast at least one day last week and I made it! An egg white and onion wrap with a corn tortilla; Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.....progress not perfection!

Progress is terrific. Moving past that block into eating breakfast is a great start.

Gradually you can build on your days. It's pretty amazing how you can feel strength come to your body and clarity come to your mind by simply eating breakfast in the morning.

I had brown rice toast, two oranges, a piece of cheese and a cup of hot tea. Simple, fast and did the job nicely for me.

I hope you give yourself food that you enjoy.

By all means write in again and let us know how your breakfasts are coming along.

warm regards,

Joanna

Still the same ole breakfast. I've been eating fiber one for over 10 years now. Now that's variety.

I woke up and realized that I have no milk. I thought about having a yogurt, which actually would be fine for me, but I really want my cereal. I guess I have to go get milk. The yogurt doesn't scare me, I just feel like I need my cereal to start my day. It's sort of ritualistic, I guess.
