Support your own eating disorder recovery by taking a stand for all

"Today Trump responded to the millions who marched for women's rights this weekend by reinstating the global gag rule, which prohibits international organizations from receiving funding if they participate in abortion-related activities, making it harder for women worldwide to access reproductive healthcare." Center for Biological Diversity
I've been treating women for over 40 years who have a history of eating disorders So much of the underpinnings of an eating disorder involve fear, lack of personal power, isolation and dependency because nothing seems as reliable and safe as eating or not eating and controlling your body. Taking positive action with allies now is a way to discover personal power and a community that supports your being strong, empowered, healthy and fully alive
Preventing families from receiving information about where babies come from and how pregnancy can be prevented is an attack on peace and prosperity around the world. Educated and privileged families have access to this information. Uneducated and impoverished people in third world countries do not. The global gag order Trump signed today only creates more misery in the world. Misery leads to anger and violence. Violence is contagious and grows to warlike behavior.
"Trump has made it clear he doesn't care about women, but Congress can still overturn this dangerous rule. Email your representatives now and urge them to overturn the global gag rule and fight every attack on reproductive freedom. If you've already taken action, share this alert with your friends. We must stand together to stop Trump's attack on women's rights." Center for Biological Diversity
Center for Biological Diversity staff members joined hundreds of thousands this weekend in the Women's March on Washington.
