Love and faith keeps your healing energy vibrant as you move toward your eating disorder recovery. Honoring your creativity keeps you encouraged and confident in your own ability to create a new and better life for yourself.
I often think of Marion Woodman's words:

"I know that the healing is in the soul journey. The curing may be in the body, but being cured is not necessarily living a full life. A person can go on breathing without really living, or even die, if he or she is cured, but not healed. Healing is a coming to wholeness." (Menweb: interview with Marion Woodman)

I'm writing my self help eating disorder recovery book, Healing Your Hungry Heart,  for adults. My words flow from listening to my patients and paying close attention to many heart felt requests for help I receive from around the country.  As I do this work I see that the journey toward wholeness needs more support, reinforcement and creative attention.

This is the path Marion Woodman took.  I've always admired her.  Now I think it's time to take a greater lesson from her.

Being believed, receiving care and respect, having your own experience validated, helps a person remain present in this world for what is and helps a person gain more sturdiness to deal with the reality of her experience.

I'm wondering about creating a series, maybe an ongoing series,  of "journey to health and wholeness writing seminars."

In a caring and respectful atmosphere we would all write together and do some of the exercises that are in my book, exercises designed to encourage and support growth toward health and wholeness.
